    Internal Eye Pressure with Careprost

Bimatoprost is an ingredient in the ophthalmic solution careprost. Bimatoprost is a member of the class of chemicals known as prostamide, also referred to as prostaglandin analogs. Squeeze a drop of medication into the affected eye by holding the dropper above the eye, then shut it. To prevent the liquid from draining into the tear duct, gently place a finger on the inner corner of the eye for approximately one minute. The way Careprost works is by ensuring that the fluid in the eye’s aqueous humor is continuously and carefully drained into the bloodstream. It reduces intraocular hypertension and the buildup of fluid. The eye drop should only be used topically. It is not meant to be ingested or consumed by mouth.
