Distinguished Oilman and Doctor of Technical Science VLADIMIR INGERMAN. Having traveled to 74 countries, swum in 55 seas and oceans, and taken part in a world tour on a yacht, I have had the good fortune to experience the diversity of life. The Soviet Union’s Northern Caucasus is where I was born. I began my professional career in Tajikistan’s Field Expedition before moving to Moscow’s scientific circles. Later, I was in charge of Western Siberia’s oil and gas field development and exploration before making the journey to the US. Along the road, I discovered the importance of resilience and adaptability, two traits that have been crucial to my quest for long-term health.
