Shark Navigator Lift-away Deluxe NV360 And Shark Rotator Powered Lift-away Upright: What Is The Love of Your Life?

Coming from the famous Shark brand, with a similar upright design, what is the key point to help you choose between Shark NV360 and Shark Rotator Powered Lift-away Upright?

I have experienced long enough with these two machines and here are my detailed feelings. Hope you will find it useful!

1. The appearance of two types of Shark machine

Overall, the Shark Navigator Deluxe NV360 and Shark Rotator Powered Lift-away Upright have a similar structure with a clear hard plastic Lift-away body attached to the base. The peak of the two vacuum cleaners is not much different, respectively 45.67 inches (Shark NV360) and 45.87 inches (Shark Rotator). In terms of width, the two machines are only 0.08 inches apart. While the Shark Model NV360 is 11.81 inches wide, this figure in the Rotator Powered Lift-away is 11.89 inches.

The parameters of the weight, the power cord’s length of the two machines are also different but not significant. Shark NV360 vacuum has a 25 feet-power-cord-length and a vacuum hose length of over 4 feet. The Shark Rotator Powered has the same length of vacuum hose, but the Shark Rotator Powered has the added advantage of a power cord because the unit is 26.25 feet long – the advantage when vacuuming in large spaces with less need to change sockets.

2. Shark’s vacuum cleaner performance

Shark Navigator Lift-away Deluxe NV360 has excellent performance on bare floors (including parquet, tile and other smooth engineered floors). Small pieces of garbage like a grain of rice, pieces of paper do not make this vacuum cleaner difficult. However, with smaller dust particles such as pollen, pet hair, it is difficult for the machine to pick them up. The same goes for grain-sized debris because the Shark 360 vacuum easily ignores them instead of vacuuming cleanly.

– Usage mode: Bare Floor I

The cleaning performance of the Shark Rotator Powered Lift-away is something that surprised me. It works too well on the terrain and seems to prossess more diverse and effective cleaning capabilities than the NV360. With the «Hard Floor» mode, dirt from small sizes such as fur, hair, fabric fibers to medium-large debris such as grains, rice, pieces of paper … is sucked by this machine. The only downside is that the hairbrush roll is off during «Hard Floor» mode so all hair will be trapped at the brush head and you have to remove it manually.

– Usage mode: Hard Floor

When vacuuming on terrains like soft carpets (long-haired and short-haired), Shark Navigator Deluxe NV360 presents itself as a formidable vacuum with the ability to clean up to 80%. On the Shark Rotator side, this machine is no less competitive with a cleaning efficiency of 90% in which the ability to suck up hair and large debris reaches 100%.

– Overall rating: 7.9 for NV360 and 8.5 for Rotator Powered.

With details on the design and features inside, I’d lean more towards the Shark Rotator Powered Lift-away Upright. However, this does not mean that Shark Navigator Deluxe NV360 is not good, this is just my personal feeling so you can read more in Shark navigator NV360 review, I hope you will evaluate wisely to buy the right vacuum cleaner for your needs.
